Wonderful two weeks in a beautiful home with a GREAT VIEW! Lots of wildlife abounds (though no deer availed themselves of the dew-tinged lawn below the deck) and plenty of insects, butterflies and moths will become a permanent display for thousands of biology students to come. Long walks were a pleasure to the eyes, ears, nose and HEART! West Virginia is a beautiful state to which I will return someday. Thanks for the hospitality, hlep with my entymological collecting and the afternoon of fishing. We has such a lovely time.

Simon and I have had a wonderful couple of days here at your getaway. The house and surroundings are gorgeous. We went "antiquing" and canoeing through The Trought. If you like a little adventure that canoe trip is worth the money. Ice Mountain is on the docket tomorrow as we leave for the DC area to visit friends. We most certainly appreciate your hospitality. Wow! What a warm, loving and hospitable home. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Not only was the view beautiful, quiet and serence, but the accommodations were impressive. It was an honor staying in a home of a family with such history. Our ride on the Potomac Eagle train was very exciting too and recommended. We look forward to returning here for a possible visit in the fall of the year.
